Note: A bit thick, but has a normal consistency when added with coffee. Could do two cups each of cream and milk to make thinner.
Use pumpkin puree from a can or make your own by baking a pie pumpkin that's been cut in half at 400°F (200°C) for 40 minutes.
Ingredients:
3 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
1 cup Whole Milk 1 cup (220g) Brown Sugar
½ cup (100g) White Sugar
2 cups (500g) Pumpkin Puree 3 tablespoons Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Vanilla
½ tablespoon Iodized Salt
2 teaspoons Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
½ teaspoon MSG
pinch fresh ground Black Pepper
Directions:
In a sauce pan, heat cream and milk until small bubbles form around the edges of the pan
Add sugars and stir until dissolved
Add pumpkin and all other ingredients and stir until mixed
If you made your own pumpkin puree, run the creamer through a fine mesh strainer
Final Notes:
I wouldn't mind trying out using whole spices sometime to try to help with the gritty texture that the ground spices have in the last sip or two.
Spiced pumpkin creamer and creamer added to coffee.
