Oven Roasted Brussels Sprouts


Ingredients:


1lb of Brussels Sprouts

½ Lemon

Vegetable Oil

Salt

Black Pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and set a rack in the middle position


Prepare a baking sheet with foil and grease it


Cut off the ends of the brussels sprouts, cut in half, and add to a large mixing bowl


Zest the lemon and add to bowl, then cut in half


Juice one half of the lemon into the bowl


Add vegetable oil, salt, and pepper and then toss the brussels sprouts to coat


Place brussels sprouts on the baking sheet, cut side down


Bake for 30 minutes or till tender
