Note: Baked kale chips seem very finicky, you need the oil distributed evenly and have a very narrow window for when they're cooked perfectly. Also the kale needs to be completely dry, so it's best to wash the kale hours or even a day in advance.
Ingredients:
Kale, washed and dried
Olive Oil
(Fine) Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
De-stem kale and cut or tear leaves into small, bite-sized pieces.
Add a drizzle of olive oil and massage to coat, try to use the least amount of oil possible while still evenly covering each piece.
Add salt (and any other seasonings you're using to flavor your chips) and massage kale again to distribute.
Spread leaves out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake for 25 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
Allow to cool, they crisp up more then they're not hot.
Final Notes:
Extra kale from salads, so dressed/flavored, works well.
